Workshop NatImages

July 9 - July 13, 2012

Nice, France

In the last 4 years, the NatImages project, funded by ANR, has focused on tackling the problem of extracting the informative content of images. The project explored new pathways to extract such useful information using recent advances in sparse signal modeling and variational approaches. These developments have been applied  with success to a very large range of scientific fields including astrophysics or biomedical imaging.

The aim of this workshop is to provide an overview of the advances and discoveries that were made possible by the NatImages project as well as opening perspective for future research in imaging science.
